1952 – 1st Australian Convention of Magicians – Oct 18, 1952

The first ever Australian Magic Convention was a one-day event held in Melbourne on October 18, 1952. It was organised by the Melbourne branch of the Australian Society of Magicians (ASM) which had 114 members at the time.
